Hello!! this is going to be my first review of my recent Bodyline order. I have been wanting to write larger blog posts to share with others. Most of the time when I go to look for reviews, I can never find any. I wanted to share what I have discovered with everyone, so here we go!
First of all, I made my order on July 19, and it got shipped out on July 21. I received my orders three weeks later. However, one of my packages got a little sidetracked and took 4 weeks. This was on the local postal side of things not Bodyline. >.<.
I ordered this set of things~
I'll start with blouse L564, I selected this blouse in pink. I do not believe it was displayed at its most optimal as I never expected the treasure I received. This has quickly become one of my favorite blouses now! It is extreemly cute and soft. The blouse is a bit short and it sits a little above my hips but perhaps i'm just used to bigger shirts? hmm.
The blouse is a tiny bit transparent but that shouldn't be a problem under a jumperskir or wear a light tshirt under it if it bothers you. The pearl accents are so cute!! I give it a 10/10 for overall cuteness, I'm definitely buying it in other colors haha.
Next up, S514 my white rocking horse shoes!
I have been wanting Rocking horse shoes for a very long time. I originally wanted them without the straps up the leg but after I saw some people in them, I decided I did not mind the straps.
S503 white flower boots~
It's not really winter weather here in Georgia, but I wanted to get the white boots to have for winter and overall :) white boots are always cute.
The boots are really nice. They are a little snug on my toes but I expected that with new boots heheh ^^. Also, the flowers are all removable and are like a fabric type of flower? they button on to the boot. The boots have velcro on the top to make them a bit tighter and I think that is really neat because you could also make it in a tiny bit bigger on your calf if you needed to.
I give them 9/10 because they are not lined so I don't think they will be very warm but they're CUTE.
Neeeeeeeeext S519 ! My blue shoes!
Okkkkkkayyyy well every sweet lolita needs a good pair of blue shoes so that is why I chose these!
I really like these, they are really cute and my favorite part is the fact they have clips that close the shoes instead of like regular dress shoes where its a pain to get them on and off. They are a bit short and I think that will make them good for walking. My only complaint is the fact they are not necessarily light blue but kind of a light green/blue mixture and to somebody who's a little OCD about color (like me) it might bug you a little. Overall, 10/10 great! I think I'll get them in a purple color too!
l076 my white blouse ;)
My main priorities blouse wise, was to get a pink and a white. A lot of the white blouses I saw were out of stock so I selected this cute one , I really like bell sleeves so I had high hopes it would be what I imagined.
I LOVE LOVE the collar on this, its so thick and has beautiful ruffles. I really like that the blouse has corset lacing in the back. I think this would make it really handy for people. This blouse has tiny little dot buttons and a ton of lace in the center. I am thinking it will be pretty with skirts too!. The blouse is a nice, soft, cotton shirt. 10/10
s514 in white!
I wanted to get a plain pair of white shoes because white is so versatile with pink, purple, or blue dresses. I liked the way the pom-poms looked on the stock photo so I figured why not try these out?? :D
The shoes are a really clear white color and are very good, in my opinion. The little ball on top is super silky soft. I worry about getting it dirty? but luckily it comes off so I'll just hand wash it. The shoes have very cute heart and bow buckles. These also clip like the other shoes I mentioned earlier. I think that the heel on this shoe is very comfortable for my height. The shoes have a small scuff on the toe from their box literally being destroyed on the way here.. :(. I am hoping to clean it off though , I'm just nervous! ahhh. Lets say,9/10 because of that scuff .
S526 In pink!
I really REALLY really really wanted this pair of shoes, like reaaaaaaaaalllyyy , but only in pink! huzzah I got them though!.
THESE ARE MY FAVORITE. I love the color, the way they feel and all the bows! omg . The straps clip on/off and are also adjustable. I really enjoy the look of the bow on the back of the shoes. I have to be honest when i say, I want these shoes in all available colours!!! haha.EASY 100/10.
Last little thing! ACC1078.
In my shopping frenzy I didn't even realize I bought these haha. They were in my cart and I totally was not paying attention and thought I clicked the little x button before checking out.
They are really stretchy and I think that is great for a lot of people.The cuffs are soft and not itchy and neither is the lace. The bow is pretty big and is a nice thick type of fabric so its easy to see from afar. The pearls are not plastic nor cheap but are a type of glass so it makes the cuffs a bit heavy. I feel this makes them look really pretty and I'm going to try to order some more soon! 10/10
I'm really happy with this order and the things I received. I enjoy everything and although I was at first put off by the color of my blue shoes and a bit annoyed because I thought I lost a package, all went well, in the end...I am very pleased.
