Whoo! yay! a new post! I am sorry I have been procrastinating / too busy/ life is crazy!..
Anywhoo, during that wonderful sale in September I got a huuuge haul from Bodyline and I wanted to share my opinion on some of the things I ordered.
I ordered on September 1 when Mr.Yan announced that sale ( Luckily I had gotten paid like 4 hours before ohohoo~) . I didnt want to miss the sale so I jumped as quick as I could. My order took forever to arrive to Georgia. I got 1 package on the 1st and 4 packages on the second or third of October. ANYWAYS lets get on with it!
ACCESSORIES acc1001-acc752-acc1000-ring076
I ordered three little necklaces and a ring from bodyline. The necklaces are all made out of a pretty thin metal but quite sturdy at the same time. I really like the teddy bear one but the horse looks a tiny bit strange sometimes. On the other hand the ring is really tiny and will not fit on any of my fingers except my ring finger :(. My fingers are not very big so it surprised me a lot.
Overall the necklaces and rings are all very cute.
Bunny clips acc823
I honestly don't have much to say about these.One of the rabbits had the gems on his smile line falling off and most of the stuff on the clips are just glued on. They aren't constructed the best so I just had everything sewn back into place and voila! good to go.
I got these clips just cauuuuse.They are made out of really thin metal and they slide out of hair very easily because they don't have the little claws on the inside. They are cream instead of white but ehh oh well.
White x Pink wristcuffs.acc1031
I meant to order wristcuffs that were white x white but instead I got white x pink. I dont mind though because the white is still really versatile. I like the way they fit and they look really cute. They have two layers of lace and its not scratchy at all .The wristcuffs had some looses strands but it all came off so all is good with me!
Tights tights and more tights.
I ordered a bunch of tights to just have as cute fillers. I honestly really like them all and they all came from different Korean or Japanese brands but none very recognizable? so Bodyline is just reselling good tights! I have tried a couple of them on and wore them and they all fit well and are sooo soft.All of the tights come packaged in separate packaging and are very neatly organized.
Pink and Blue bonnets-Hat192
I ordered two of these bonnets that I saw .I wanted one in pink and one in blue to have to match some things with. The bonnets are actually really good quality! They are made with a good cotton fabric and actually have a nice clip on the inside to hold it in place. I like that they aren't very big and add a splash of cuteness. They tie underneath the neck and hold upwards pretty well , though I recommend sometimes a little starch and ironing them , mine were a bit floppy at first haha.
Bloomers-white pan054-multicolored pan026
I have always really liked how cute bodylines bloomers are so I decided to snag a pair or two. I got 2 of the white pair and 1 of the pink x blue x white type. Neither of them are very itchy at all , the lace is soofttt. The white pairs have elastic in the hips and in the thighs, whereas the pink x blue x white have a ribbon to tie everything as tight as you want it on the hips and thighs. They both have the ruffle all the way around and for comfy little shorts, they are a win.
I got this blouse in sax even though last month I ordered it in pink. The blouse has many little bows, a great big fluffy collar , and the blue is just a perfect light blue color. This is one of my favorite sweet blouses and honestly I may order it in purple too haha ///>w<////
Bodyline light ruffly white shirt L581
I really liked how the sleeves looked in the stock photo, it looked very cute for hime coords. I ended up ordering this dress and sometimes it has a off-white color to it. Its made out of a very thin lacy fabric and is amazingly cute. The sleeves are very fluffy and the collar has a removable bow + cameo . I like the cameo and bow, I feel they complete the shirt nicely.
For some reason this blouse is just the tiniest bit itchy on my stomach but I think after washing and adding some softener it wont be that way.
Long sleeve white blouse L016
It gets a bit chilly in Georgia really quickly so I thought a long sleeved blouse would be good for under JSKS and perhaps skirts. I liked how the sleeves looked and decided to go with this one.
The blouse is really comfortable and although its a little short it has a cute ruffle at the bottom of the blouse so it looks good over skirts. The blouse has snap buttons to snap the neck part closed and I think that makes it 10000% easier than buttons and feeling choked.
Its not stiff or uncomfortable but wrinkles really easily on the sleeves.
Bunny jacket L238
I wanted a light jacket to wear when I am just out running errands and stuff. This bodyline jacket is able to be a short sleeved or a long sleeved.It is thick and will keep a slight cold away but definitely not the only thing needed for winter. Its not lined and is just a durable overcoat to be honest. I really like all the little ribbons and the rabbit ears. ^^
White bolero L409
This jacket is really cute to add to any coord. It's actually a little thick and it isn't itchy even though it has tiny little sparkly bead type things? . The collar closes with a ribbon and a button to keep it tight.The ribbons on the sleeves are a little flimsy but easily enough can be tied down.I like it for keeping sun off my shoulders and it passed well with just a Jsk underneath , but be careful not all Jsks.
Bodyline petticoat PAN078
I heard that all bodyline petticoats suck really badly but I wanted to see what the biggest one would be like so I grabbed this one in the pink version. Personally I don't think its very poofy but it is so pretty! like its really fluffy just not to my extreme fluffy liking haha. I pair it on top of a small hoop skirt to get a really cupcake-y shape. Its lined with a satin type fabric and has 4 layers of tulle . All by itself, it would work for somebody who doesn't want their skirt completely full but just wants minimal poof.
Bodyline alice in wonderland L457
O.M.G. I LOVE THIS DRESS. It is soooo pretty and so big in the skirt so its able to be really fluffy. I am not really usually a fan of purple but I love it! The design is super cute and so is the apron. Its got little bells on it ;w; .The apron is a totally separate part from the dress and the dress would even work by itself. Adorable , definitely a win 10/10
Bodyline pink dress L348
I had this dress in blue but wanted to grab it in pink too. Its really kinda doll-like and not very craazzy in print so I really liked it. The pink version is so cute! its a real light pastel pink.This dress is really sturdy and made nicely.I adore the waist ties, theyre so prettyyy!!! ee so cute! Its also a bit heavy (which I love! means its fluffffyyy! have I mentioned fluffy too much?)
Pink dress L328
I got this dress back in 2013? I bought it off an old friend of mine when she changed styles. I ended up dropping gel eyeliner on it at one point and after being frustrated at it not coming off for like 6 months I decided it was time to get a new one.
I really like how long and pretty this dress is. The layers on it are soft and so are the sleeves . I wish they made this dress in blue, I plan to also get it in white so I definitely recommend!!
Cream dress L378
I wanted to use this for a themed halloween outfit I have in mind. I thought it would be white but it is indeed cream. Straight up, cream. Even if you squint, its cream.
I was so aloof and excited about the sale I missed the cream part of it. Oh well, its actually a really cute dress.
I like it a lot and there is many little details in it. There's two layers in the skirt and the top has a removable flower bow type thing near the collar. Its very elegant and pairs really cutely with pink. The only thing I don't like is the back has shirring but doesn't have corset lacing. It makes the dress really loose on my waist and bust and I don't like that very much. I think I will have some corset lacing put into it . Other than the back of the dress , its quite comfortable!
Bodyline separate L217
I've always been nervous considering how much people will bash on bodylines separates but I figured whyyy not?. I got this in pink and I actually thought it came with a blouse? but it doesn't . I guess another case of not paying attention haha.
This outfit comes with a lot of bows and pieces. There's the bolero part,the skirt, and the hat.
The hat is extremely stiff and doesn't really loosen up. It has some kind of placer that keeps it really round like a plate..I'm not totally sure how I feel about it.
The bolero and the skirt are made almost out of a blanket fabric? its really really soft fabric and its heavy! Like I will be using the bolero part maybe even during Christmas because its just so thick and warm.
I like this Bodyline separate and want to try and make it look good for the people that say it cant be cute haha. I think it would suit people wanting a casual lolita outfit.
Blue bodyline dress L362
I have been wanting this dress for a long time. I liked all the different colorways and couldnt decide between pink or blue or violet , but when I went to order the pink went out of stock and I could only get the blue sooooo...blue it was! .
I really like the length and all the ruffles and just general cuteness of this dress.It is a bit longer than some of mine and is very roomy. Its a good comfy dress and I definitely think I will order it in another colourway. The sleeves are just a tiny bit small and that is about the only thing I don't like , I don't like capped kind of sleeves.
Shoes S507
Oh wow, I love these shoes so much! they have more heel than the blue ones I got that look similar .They had a scuff on the front , but I am guessing from just being in the bag and hitting each other. I cleaned off the scuff with some non-acetone polish remover and they were good to go! I really like how cute they are paired with pattern tights and the color is just spot on A++
